A week ago we surpised Nicole. We went to watch her play soccer. Though soccer is quite popular (as almost everywhere). Women's soccer is not. We turned out to be the first fans who actually came and watched the game since two years...  

Just another day in the ancient world

To celebrate Nicoles birthday, we went over to Archeon. It was brilliant, at least the two archaeologists thought it was. In a few hours we learnt all history of the Netherlands starting in the Neolithic period and ending in the early dark ages of medieval times.

Fridays

I don't know what it is with Fridays, but everybody gets a bit restless. Well..., not everybody. Let me specify this: just the ones who are actually at the office. And where I work those are extremely hard to find. Empty rooms as far as the eye can see. Occasionally you see a lonely person behind a desk or a gathering of people talking, gossiping or preparing the Friday bar. The Friday bar suggests a weekly drinking activity. But because of the declining number of people there is at Fridays, it's not anymore. Today, organizing the Friday bar, meant testing if beer that's four month past its expiration date is still drinkable...
